PETRODEX has grown into an internationally recognized energy trading group with a strong regional presence and a proven track record in regional power markets. PETRODEX trades over 230 MW daily on the SAPP network and is positioned to exceed 300 MW, supported by strong alliances with leading utilities.
PETRODEX is also expanding its footprint in West Africa across multiple countries within the WAPP network. In parallel, the company is actively scaling its renewable energy generation in Zambia through its first 112 MWp solar PV plant in Serenje, of which 25 MWp have been energized since July 2025, and the remaining capacity is scheduled for commissioning by mid-2026. This project is part of the company's plans to reach a total generation capacity of 400 MWac, strengthening the long-term reliability and sustainability of the energy supplied to Zampower’s customers.
